1. On the Items Tab, Select the "Inventory On-Hand Export File" View.
2. Export the view to Excel
3. Delete Column "A" (Item Type)
4. Clear the On-Hand Quantity Column, and enter new values
5. Save Sheet in Same Format (Tab Delimited TXT, Excel will Warn about format, just "OK" through the warning)
6. On Items Tab, Select Actions -> On-Hand Inventory Upload
7. Select "Choose File..." and select the file you saved in Step 5
8. Click "Upload File", and the file will post
A couple of notes:
The File format must remain intact (excepting the deletion of the item type column "A").
Quantity on Hand Column (F) must be in "General" Formatting - No Commas.
SureFire will check for mis-matched on fields other than On-Hand, and throw any mismatches out. To ensure full upload, make sure no other fields are changed in either SF after the export, or in the file itself after the Export.
All Items that are updated will reflect the new On-Hand Quantity from the file immediately in SF.
